A WoW Classic private server fused with the SUI blockchain. copper you loot in-game becomes real money you own.
When ye sign up, the server forges a wallet just for ye. It's shared between you and ye server, like a good ol’ vault. That wallet holds your in-game coin, and since it's built on the SUI blockchain, you’re free to send and receive as ye like. Even outside the game.
Listen here, lad! This COPPER token’s a bit of a meme, aye.. forged more for cheer than for gear, like a dwarf craftin’ a hammer just to knock a few orcs clean outta their boots and through a tree or two. But the vault was filled good and proper at the start, so there’s plenty o’ coin to hand out to any soul swingin’ steel and clearin’ the wilds.
Aye, any WoW client’ll do, long as it be version 1.12.1. Where ye found it? Bah, don’t matter much. The fine folk over at the mighty Elysium Project tucked one away fer ye right here. Grab it, crack it open with 7-Zip, and don’t be daft – extract it proper first! And for stone’s sake, don’t dump it in Program Files. Toss it somewhere like C:\WoW
where it won’t get mucked up.
Next, dig into the WoW folder, find a scroll named realmlist.wtf. Might just say realmlist - same beast. Open it with Notepad, wipe it clean, and scrawl this rune: set realmlist watto.molten.games
. Save it. Then right-click wow.exe
, slap a shortcut on yer desktop, and ye're ready for battle.
Aye, this be a private WoW server, cobbled together by a bunch o’ open-source tinkerers. It’s been tackled before, and it sure as stone might get hammered again.
We’ve added plenty o’ safeguards since, patched every hole we know. Still, don’t be daft. Once ye got a bit o’ gold jinglin’ in that bag o’ yours: move it.
